Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini welcomes you to their family-owned farm owned since 1870 located in a little medieval village named Vico d'Elsa, in the Chianti countryside. Located at the crossroads of the medieval trade routes between Rome and northern Italy, this estate originally served as a hospital and refuge for weary travelers. Since 1500, it has been owned by several noble families from Siena and Florence, who have left their influence on the architecture of the estate, including frescoes, cellars and granaries. In 1870, Francesco Guicciardini, a Florentine politician and ancestor of the current owners, acquired the estate. His daughter Marcella and her husband Massimiliano Majnoni later expanded the estate and founded the winery.
