You farm in harmony with the landscape, the territory and its equilibriums. Without disrupting its balance, but adding value.
Fattoria La Maliosa operates under this founding principle. Their name derives from the verb “to charm”, chosen to celebrate the extraordinary beauty of the surrounding land.
Their project is based on three fundamental choices: quality, beauty, and environmental health, with a commitment to respecting the territory and its originality. Ethics and aesthetics coincide in their philosophy. Nestled between the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, their world intertwines with its beauty to further enrich and enhance it. They are situated between two territories. The first is the Saturnia area, where vineyards coexist in balance with olive groves, arable land, and woods, totaling 170 hectares, featuring predominantly clay and chaotic stone soils. The second is the Pitigliano area, boasting 3 hectares of vineyards planted on volcanic soils. These places are at the heart of their philosophy, with the goal of expressing their essence through their work every day.
Fattoria La Maliosa holds a very simple idea of quality. They produce natural wines and extra virgin olive oil in an artisanal way, maintaining complete respect for nature. They believe in transparency in a world where people are increasingly attentive to what they consume. They are aware that every balance is fragile and that humans must tread delicately, as soil is a limited precious resource. Certified organic since their foundation in 2010, they also obtained the SQNPI certification, “sustainable quality,” with the National Rural Network in 2022.
