How to Get There: Schmitt Winery is located on the outskirts of Bergtheim, directly along the road B19 that leads to Würzburg/Schweinfurt. There is enough space for parking whether you arrive per car, camper, or bus. Bergtheim has its own train station, within a short driving distance to the winery, or a roughly 15 minute walk.

If you have a certain preference of wine that you would like to try, you can let the winery know when making the reservation. The winery will be more than happy to comply with your request! If you don’t make a request, then they will pick out wines that fit that current time of year, as well as keeping the mix diverse.
Apart from trying their wines first-hand, you’ll also learn some interesting facts about the grape varieties, where the vines are located, and how the wine is made.
