Winery Tour and Wine Tasting

How would you like to take a sneak peek behind the scenes of Schmitt Winery in the heart of Franconia? Follow the journey their grapes take from start to finish and indulge in a variety of wines after the tour in their rustic tasting room! Schmitt Winery offers its customers the chance to see how their wine is made. They will start you off with a glass of sparkling wine in the wine pressing house, where they will explain the process of creating their different wines, how they’re bottled, and stored. They will even show you their treasured wine vault, where they store wines dating all the way back to the year the winery was built! After the tour, you can sit back and relax in the tasting room and enjoy tasting four wines that the winery has prepared for you, along with water, juice, and snacks. You’ll receive one sparkling wine, four wines, water, juice, snacks, and a tour of the winery. Alcohol won’t be served to guests under the drinking age, and children are free of charge.
