About the winery: Haus of Kessler
The Haus of Kessler is one of the few sparkling wine producers in Germany which has historical roots in the Champagne region. You can find out how the wine is made to foam and bubble during a guided tour of Germany’s oldest sparkling wine cellar. Exciting stories about the art of producing sparkling wine await you in the vaults of the former Speyer nursing home from the Staufer era. The experience of seeing with your own eyes how the “pearling gold” is produced in a cultural monument that is over 800 years old.
