International Guggenmusik Festival
March 1 @ 8:00 pm - March 2 @ 3:00 am

It’s that time of year again! The Dahn Carnival Club invites you to join the festivities at their legendary Guggenmusik Festival. Held on the Saturday before Carnival Sunday, this event has grown into one of Germany’s largest and most exciting celebrations of its kind.
But what is Guggenmusik? Originating from the Alemannic region, Guggenmusik is a unique style of brass band music played during Carnival. It’s characterized by bold rhythms and intentionally “offbeat” or “discordant” melodies, skillfully arranged for a quirky yet professional sound. Musicians typically perform in elaborate costumes, often wearing masks, adding to the festive and eccentric atmosphere.
Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with rhythm, energy, and the wonderfully whimsical sounds of masked Guggenmusik groups. Think big brass, bold beats, and vibrant vibes that will keep you dancing until the early hours.
Don’t miss this uniquely festive night—come and experience the magic of Guggenmusik for yourself!
