On the first Sunday in September, Offenburg wineries invite you to their traditional Offenburg Wine Hiking Day. Enjoy an eight-kilometer route through the vineyards, offering breathtaking views of the Rhine plain, Strasbourg, and the Vosges mountains. Along the way, seven wineries offer tastings of fine wines, Baden cuisine, and lively company.
The Wine Hiking Day Pass allows you to sample a wine at each participating winery and includes free bus transfers to and from Offenburg railway station. No booking is needed, and entry is free. Passes are available at the wineries.
