Organic Wine Tasting, Wine Walk and Cellar Tour at Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini
Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini welcomes you to its family-run winery for an intense wine experience.
Enjoy an organic wine tasting, served with local cold cuts, and a guided tour of the panoramic terrace, the vineyards and the old wine cellars.
The tour begins with a presentation of the winery and a historical overview. You will then visit the vineyard and the old threshing machines: Here you will learn the basics of organic and regenerative farming and natural winemaking in the 21st century.
You will then visit the wine cellars and learn about the winemaking processes and the oenological and cultural concept of Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini. You will also have the opportunity to admire the surrounding landscape from the winery’s panoramic terrace overlooking San Gimignano.
Immersion in the history of Italian art and architecture (from the 11th to the 19th century) for those who combine the tasting with a visit to Villa Guicciardini, which housed the patrician families that succeeded each other in the ownership of our historic company (+ 1/2 hour + €10/p).
To round off the experience, your wine tasting will take place in the old oil mill. You will taste three organic wines: white (Spareto), rosé and Chianti Superiore. The wines are accompanied by an organic aperitif with delicacies such as shepherd’s ricotta cheese with organic oil from the farm, shepherd’s salami and Tuscan bread.
