The Bad Dürkheim City Festival is back and ready to pour on the fun! For five sip filled days, the charming wine town of Bad Dürkheim is a celebration of music, culture, food, and family-friendly fun. Think live music, local eats, and quirky events like the beloved duck race (Hello, Germany); this is one of Rheinland-Pfalz’s most iconic city festivals.
It’s the perfect mix of small-town charm, regional wine, and a good place for “sip happens”.

🎶 Live Music
More than 20 local and regional bands will take the stage across five days, including Die Anonyme Giddarischde, Rubber Biscuit, and Coverhelden. Expect rock, pop, groove, and more—you’ll want to wine down and dance.
🧸 Family-Friendly Fun
Bring the kids! There’s plenty to do, from:
- Puppet theater shows
- The iconic duck race on the Isenach River
- Creative kids’ workshops
- Interactive Museum Day
🍷 Food & Wine
Bad Dürkheim’s best local wineries and restaurants will be open. Sip Riesling in the square or nibble your way through the fest with delicious regional specialties.

On Sunday, May 31, from 1–6 PM, local shops open for a relaxed shopping experience in the city center. Perfect for pairing with your wine glass.

- May 28: Opening ceremony at 6 PM with the local music school & evening performances
- May 29: Duck race at 2:30 PM + puppet theater + live music from 3 PM
- May 30: Puppet theater, dance shows, and groovy night concerts
- May 31: Full day of music, puppet theater & a talent parade
- June 1: Church service at 10 AM, then a festive finale of food, music, and fun
